Bugis Street Development Pte Ltd (BSD) is a property development, investment and capital management company that focuses in developing iconic street shopping experiences. The business involves developing partnerships with strategic parties, conceptualizing practical and unique designs, marketing and branding projects as destinations in their own class. One of our unique core competencies involve managing the affairs of up to 800 retailers housed under one roof. The BSD management team has a keen interest in taking on projects of historical value. Examples of such projects include reviving old towns, rejuvenating and revitalizing once iconic streets with past glories into “must-visit” tourist attractions, which contribute significantly to the urban planning and development of a city, and or, in some cases, a country. In addition, we believe in supporting the next generation of business leaders by providing mentorship and sponsorship through incubation opportunities, entrepreneurship competitions, business school collaborations, and sponsorship arrangements. In support of ‘Entrepreneurship Education and Service Quality’, BSD collaborates regularly with local institutions to give students the rare opportunity to experience entrepreneurship training in a realistic environment by offering prime retail space to students rental free.
