Buddy Pegs Media (BPM) is a Family Adventure Media company with a vision. We envision a world where active, outdoor adventure reclaims a central role in childhood and helps the kids of today become the inspiring leaders of tomorrow. Leaders who lead on a global scale, and leaders who act locally to lead their communities day to day. Our products fall into three business lines: 1) old school media for children: books & podcasts 2) in-person classes for families 3) digital media for children and adults. Families are growing more disconnected by the day, childhood obesity is an epidemic, and kids have less outside playtime than a prison inmate. This crisis began slowly, but now it’s picking up momentum at a startling pace. We’re ready to fuel the movement! A cultural reversal to what digital media is doing to our families. Buddy Pegs Media shifts technology and modern media from a problem to a solution by combining it with real-life adventure and discovery to create a framework for true family togetherness. Our first actiity focus is bicycling. Bicycling is a lifetime shared family activity, a vehicle for discovery, and a tool for teaching the life skills of self-confidence, resilience, and connection to the real world. Most importantly, it forces adults to put the devices away, get off the sidelines, and shift from being simply “there” to truly present. Bicycles are a weapon in the battle for our kids. It’s time to use technology and media in a productive way that guides adults from feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, and confused, to connected and confident.
