With a constantly growing number of students, education venues and campuses, and a diverse range of programs, Budapest Metropolitan University is the biggest private university in Hungary. This state-recognized, accredited higher education institution is present in two cities, Budapest and Hódmezővásárhely, and has a massive student community of 6500 enthusiastic young people. The University offers a complex educational program at two vocational grammar schools, various higher-level vocational trainings, master degree programs and post-graduate specialist training programs built on the bachelor programs in the field of communication, business, tourism and arts. The institution is characterized by an open and pleasant atmosphere, a strong focus on performance and competition supported by cutting-edge infrastructure on solid foundations. It has been present in the Hungarian higher education scene for the past 16 years. A Budapesti Metropolitan Egyetem (METU) Magyarország legnagyobb magánkézben lévő felsőoktatási intézménye. A Metropolitanen 2 karon, 4 fő képzési területen folyik képzés: kommunikáció, üzlet, turizmus és művészet. A folyamatosan bővülő magyar és angol nyelvű kínálatban jelenleg 33 alapszak, 16 mesterszak, 22 szakirányú továbbképzés és 8 felsőoktatási szakképzés közül választhatnak az egyetem iránt érdeklődők. A Metropolitannek jelenleg közel 6500 hallgatója van, akik 2011-től már nemcsak a fővárosban, hanem Hódmezővásárhelyen is folytathatják tanulmányaikat. Az intézmény 2001 óta meghatározó és dinamikusan fejlődő szereplője a hazai felsőoktatásnak. Képességfejlesztő tréningrendszere egyedülálló. A Metropolitan jelenleg közel 170 külföldi intézménnyel tart fenn partnerkapcsolatot.
