The Corvinus University of Budapest is the leading institution of Hungary in the fields of economy and social sciences. From July 1, 2019, Corvinus has been operated by Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation, and the aim of the institution is to be the leading university of Central Europe in the fields mentioned. At the Budapest and Székesfehérvár Campuses of the university currently, 13,000 students are being educated, out of them, 3,500 are from foreign countries. Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) - in terms of student and staff number, quality of education and research, and its international relations - is a prestigious institution of public higher education in Hungary, operating continuously since its inception in 1635. As a top-ranked research university in Hungary, it is the most popular higher education institution among applicants as well as alma mater of five Nobel laureates and leading figures in technology, public policy, and culture in Hungary. ELTE has widespread international relations. It holds bilateral agreements for cooperation and exchange with about 600 higher education institution partners. It is an active member of prestigious international university networks and involved in joint degree programs. Currently 29,000 students study at eight faculties at ELTE with about 3,000 international students from over 100 countries. Széchenyi István University (SZE) is located in Győr, Hungary. The university was established in 2002 and has a strong technical focus. It has an excellent reputation in electrical and mechanical engineering and has a partnership with the German car manufacturer Audi.
