BUCKHAVEN LEARNING CENTER Information

Buckhaven Learning Center was established in 2006 as Non-Profit 501(c) 3 organizations. Buckhaven carries out activities designed to offer physically challenged individuals and children the opportunities to participate in hunting and related outdoor activities as well as educational programs to learn about hunting, nature and other similar topics. These activities specifically include: BUCKHAVEN will be hosting our Premier event. This will be an all-expense paid "Whitetails for Warriors" Hunt for the "Combat Wounded Veterans" 14-17 October, 2015 at, BUCKHAVEN, Loudonville, Ohio. Twelve Disabled Vets will have an opportunity to harvest a whitetail deer on this very special hunt. A major emphasis is placed on honoring our disabled veterans in an educational and recreational therapeutic benefit program. Our objective is to provide support with adaptive equipment, and to explore and experiment in the vast outdoors. This year was no exception. Watch our Event Page for Dates, Details, and Application. BUCKHAVEN will host 2014 Kenda Mohican 100 MTB Race May 30, 2015 at 7:00am in Loudonville, Ohio BUCKHAVEN Learning Center has been an Aid Station for the MTB 100 for the past 13 years. BUCKHAVEN also provides a hunting opportunity for Youth Hunters through our Youth Pheasant Hunt. The last three years the kids have had a BALL! (as well as the guides). We will be hosting an all-expense paid Archery Whitetail Deer Hunt for Special Needs Kids. This event will be held on October 30 thru November 1, 2015 in Loudonville, Ohio. Four Special Needs Youth Hunters will have an opportunity to harvest a Whitetail Deer on this very special Hunt.
