Bucharest Tips (www.bucharest-tips.com) is an alternative Bucharest travel guide for city visitors providing information about the city (events, day, night, food, culture, shopping etc.) in a unique manner. The website includes locals’ profiles with Bucharest recommendations and editorial features. A visitor can use a customized search to select the locals’ profiles that match his/her own lifestyle and get Bucharest recommendations that suit their needs. Places recommended have their own pages, including description, photo, address and map, telephone and website, as well as links to the events hosted (past-present-future) in order to help the visitors to make the best choice about spending time in Bucharest. The business idea came from the need everybody has when visiting a new town: to visit the places and do the things that really are important to him/her.
