Established in 2004, Bubbles Turtle Conservation (formerly Bubbles Turtle and Reef Experience) strives to conserve the local nesting sea turtle population at Teluk Tanjung Tukas on the Perhentian Islands. Activities carried out by our project include mother turtle data collection, egg relocation, public environmental awareness and beach cleans. In 2021, our turtle team relocated 198 nests into our hatchery and released over 16,000 hatchlings into the sea. Additionally, we also propagate and maintain our own artificial reef to ensure a safe ecosystem for sea turtle hatchlings.
