BubbleDeck Information

BubbleDeck is helping architects Meyer Shircore and builder Cooper & Oxley build a challenging new project in Joondalup, in the north of Perth's metropolitan area. Combining a church, medical suites, offices, a café, and a car park, the building at the corner of Grand Boulevard and Shenton Ave surrounds an existing church on the site, meaning that site disturbance needs to be kept to a minimum. BubbleDeck's simple construction, requiring fewer vehicle movements, less site concrete to pour, and reduced crane requirements, fits the bill perfectly. Construction with the first BubbleDeck slabs commenced in August 2011 and has proceeded steadily since, with the quite different demands of the various areas of the building calling for the use of both BD280 and BD340 (finished thickness 280mm and 340mm respectively).
