BryTech Solutions Ltd Information

BryTech Solutions Ltd is an independent process engineering consultancy, specialising in desalination and water treatment. The company's director, Tony Attenborough was awarded a 1st Class Honours Chemical Engineering Degree from UMIST (Manchester University) in 1986 and has 30 years post graduate work experience, exclusively in the Water Industry. Tony started his career with the main UK water industry research and development organisation (WRc), then worked in the engineering division of one of the UK's largest water utilities (North West Water), and his final staff position was as Technology Manager, Desalination with the then largest construction company in the World (Bechtel). In 2003, Tony went freelance and created BryTech Solutions. For his first two years as a freelancer, he was directly sub-contracted by water treatment process contractors (Degremont and Birse), with the responsibility for running and commissioning new water treatment facilities in the UK. Since then, Tony has worked on a number of desalination projects, including: 2005 to 2010: Lenders' Technical Advisor and Independent Engineer for the 100 Ml/d Chennai BOOT project 2006 to 2011: Owner's Engineer for the 212 Ml/d and 850 MW Shuqaiq IWPP 2013 to 2016: Lenders' Technical Advisor and Independent Engineer for the 60 Ml/d Ghana Desalination BOOT 2013 to 2016: EPC Design Manager for the 56 Ml/d Barka I Expansion Phase II SWRO Plant In addition to the above projects, Tony has had direct dealings with key desalination technical specialists in MHI, Doosan, Veolia (OTV), Befesa, Osmoflo, GE Water, ILF, CDM, Atkins, MWH and Golder Associates.
