brut tea exists to enhance human creativity and mindful moments through the ritual of tea. In a world optimised for speed and constant output, we believe tea enables us to live in another way: with focus, presence, and connection. At brut tea, we design products and experiences that invite people to slow down – whether at home, at work, or in a café – and rediscover the simple pleasure of making and drinking tea with intention. Our beloved matcha is coveted for its vibrant colour, clean umami, and versatility. We've achieved this by sourcing directly from specialist producers. For consumers, this means a refined daily ritual; for baristas, it means matcha optimised for milk and alternative milk based drinks, built for consistency and performance in cafés and hospitality settings. In addition to matcha, we also launched the UK's first tea token. Working directly with family-run farms in Yunnan, China, we source whole-leaf teas that reflect terroir, craftsmanship, and sustainability. We then press these teas into a token, resulting in a format that is convenient, portable and free of microplastics. Our portfolio spans both direct-to-consumer products and wholesale and café supply, allowing us to support individuals, offices, cafés, and distributors with the same uncompromising standards. Founded by Raphael and Joyce, brut tea combines backgrounds in product, technology, and brand building with deep respect for traditional tea culture. Our mission is to elevate tea, including matcha, to the same cultural and professional standing as specialty coffee and fine wine.
