Our aim at Brookvale Early Learning Centre is to provide high quality care and education by catering for the individual needs of each child. The link between the HOME (family) and the CENTRE is important. By creating a feeling of acceptance and sense of belonging we provide an environment which enables each child to feel safe and secure. The Centre exercises strict health and hygiene practices. A hygienic and clean environment is important for the benefit and well-being of all. Equipment and toys are checked and is monitored to ensure safety. Meals times are highly regarded in each room by all staff. This is an opportunity in which basic fundamental skills and family values are encouraged. All meals are nutritionally planned and prepared at our centre daily. We ensure our centre facilities are maintained at all times to ensure the safety of children, families, visitors and staff. All children should be treated equally regardless of ability, gender, religion or culture. The input of families and their relationship with the Centre is of vital importance to the development of each child. The diversity of our centre strengthens each of us and builds respect and a strong identity within each child. Our centre is always aware of children's cultural backgrounds and we respect and include these in our programmes and environment. The children in our care will be provided at all times with a safe learning environment. Our educators will ensure every child is protected to the best of our abilities from all kinds of abuse or neglect both in care and at home by following Child Protection policies at all times. We recognise that children learn through collaborative play between themselves and their educators so meaningful and warm interactions are always delivered.
