We are an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory day school for students in grades 6-12 located on a beautiful 65-acre campus in Cary, North Carolina.
Cary Academy opened in 1997 with the vision to be a school of the future, combining a traditional liberal arts program with new pedagogical and technological techniques for the 21st century.
In support of this founding vision, Cary Academy provides every student with a convertible tablet computer with inking capability, the cost of which is included in tuition. These computers are heavily used across our curriculum and have had a transformative impact on the learning environment at our school.
Today, two decades after we first opened our doors, we continue to be strongly student-centered and optimistically future-oriented in our approach.
Cary Academy holds dual accreditation from the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and AdvancED, and we currently enroll 764 students.
