Brookside Publishing Services is a dedicated sales and marketing agency representing major UK and Irish book publishers in the Irish book market. We offer a locally based, targeted, effective, and fully experienced solution to your publishing representation requirements in Ireland. As any publisher is aware, it is essential to manage your sales and marketing activities in any territory in as consistent a way as possible. As it isn’t always economically viable to employ an in-house sales team in each territory, Brookside is in a unique position to utilise our collective experience and local market knowledge to ensure our publishers consistently maximise their annual turnover through complete access to the market. The Brookside sales team visit or have regular contact with approximately sixty trade accounts including high-street, specialist, and campus bookshops; major Irish third level institutions; all Irish library and educational suppliers; and the major wholesalers. We firmly believe strong communication is vital to successful working relationships with our publishers, and we manage this through regular meetings and detailed sales reporting. We propose regular meetings per year to discuss the publishing schedule and to provide market feedback on the list. We can provide bespoke qualitative and quantitative sales reporting at a level of detail as required.
