Brooklyn Minds is a team-based, tech-enabled comprehensive mental health practice offering a wide array services and interventional treatments for adults. In 2022, we partnered with Curated Mental Health to further expand into the psychedelic-assisted mental healthcare space. It are now led by the pioneering Dr. Amanda Itzkoff. We specialize in interventional treatments and our team based-treatment style has resulted in decreased utilization of psychiatric emergency room, inpatient and residential levels of care. We are known for our expertise in Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT), an evidence-based therapy for personality disorders that has been shown to reduce suicidal ideation and self-harm, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), which is FDA cleared for Major Depression and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, and for being one of the first practices in the NYC Region to offer esketamine. Through our partnership with Curated, we also now offer Ketamine Infusion. We have 24/7 availability by text or phone call for our patients and flexibility regarding after hours and holiday appointments when there is an appropriate clinical rationale. We conduct appointments via Telehealth and in-person appointments are conducted when clinically necessary. We have clinicians who accept Cigna, United and Aetna and are looking to get credentialed with all major carriers to increase our accessibility.
