Interior designer with 20+ years of experience working with sophisticated clientele in Silicon Valley residential and small commercial spaces providing creative solutions to get the most out of their investment. Prior to her time in Silicon Valley, Brooke has lived in Dallas, London and the Chicago North Shore. Specialties include:Programming: Determine project scope by analyzing goals, documenting existing conditions, collaborating to determine feasible design concepts leading to a physical solution including producing a criteria matrix or adjacency matrixConcept Development: After determining feasibility - space planning, sketching, color schemes, style appropriate to the overall goals of the clientPresentation: Providing conceptual drawings, drafting floorplans, furnishing layout and creating mood boards to help clients see how the final space will look and feelDocumentation: Providing construction drawings, From the conceptual stage, together we will determine the project aesthetic - ranging from contemporary and minimal to traditional with layers of formality. While spending time getting to know you and how you operate in the current environment, I'm already working to solve space utilization challenges and capture valuable under- or unused space.The renovation process usually involves determining which fixtures and furnishings to refinish, recover, repurpose or remove. To suit current functional needs, new pieces are usually integrated. I find the experience of space is is rich with depth and interest when it includes some sense of history, providence. This can be incorporated in the commercial setting in a variety of ways, such as the introduction of a new business inside an historic building, or using industry related relics as art installations in a starkly modern setting.For most of my life, I have loved transforming spaces and for over 20 years I have been helping my clients achieve the experience of their homes or businesses they dream about.
