Previously Shawnee Molds, Distinctive Molds is a precast mold manufacturer of 3/16" thick high impact, virgin ABS plastic. Other products include: Vibrating Tables, Retarder Paper, Release Agent, and Lettering. Without the creativity and ingenuity of Everett “Ab” and Patricia “Patty” Gilbert this business would not be possible. They started Shawnee Mold Company in the early 1960s and built it into a thriving business with a huge variety of products to serve the precast industry. We are deeply indebted to the trust Patricia has bestowed upon us to continue the tradition established by her and her late husband Everett. Welcome to The Moldmakers Inc. TMI are designers and builders of quality plastic injection molds for numerous consumer products including those for the medical, electronic and automotive industries. Forming dies for the paper pressed industry are also designed and manufactured at the same location. Our dies and molds, and the products they produce, are used throughout the world. Custom tooling and fixtures for various stamping and casting applications are also available. The Moldmakers Inc., doing business since 1968, have been building plastic injection molds for over 40 years and paper press dies for over 25 years. Using experience, diversity, flexibility and the latest in technology, our first goal is to provide our customers with high quality tools. These tools, conceptualized and designed in our CAD/CAM department, are manufactured with the latest in CNC and manual equipment by journeyman toolmakers.
