SQL and the relational database have been around for 50 years. Finally it has a successor. Brodlist brings a new data model to the table and with it a language that makes querying data easier than SQL (presented at the Future of Programming, StrangeLoop last September). It's not just easier to query, it's better under the covers as well. Where relational databases struggle to scale, Brodlist instead gives all the benefits of NoSQL, such as horizontal scalability and speed. It's a perfect marriage of the two: "easier to ask questions" and "handles big data".
