Broadsword Marine Contractors was founded by Grant Farris in 2004 with one catamaran – the "MV Broadsword". This vessel was used daily as a construction crew transfer vessel. It was also used extensively throughout the jetty construction phase of the Conoco Philips Gas Plant at Wickham Point in Darwin Harbour. With up to thirty boats working at any one time and offices in Darwin NT, Gladstone QLD and Exmouth WA we have grown to become the North’s premier workboat company. Ranging from tugs to large aluminium catamarans, our boats give us a great capacity to undertake industrial scale work at sea. We can offer solutions for all kinds of maritime ventures whenever you require a floating platform and we will do our best to create a result that completely satisfies you.
