Greenvale Primary School offers a broad curriculum from years Prep to Six encompassing the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS). The domains covered are Health & Physical Education, Interpersonal Development, Personal Learning, Civics & Citizenship, The Arts, English, Humanities, LOTE (Indonesian), Mathematics, Science, Communication, Design, Creativity & Technology, ICT and Thinking. Progressive classroom programs, catering for each child's needs, encourage parental involvement and promote active learning. The school has high, but achievable student expectations with students being assessed regularly. A wide range of specialist and support programs is offered throughout the school to enhance the children's total development. Students take an active role through programs such as: Bounce Back, "You Can Do It", Student Leadership, Drug Education, Buddy System, Junior School Council and Student Mediation.
