The British Army's Programmes Directorate is at the heart of delivering the Army's modernisation programme: be it the latest equipment, key logistical support, or developing new programmes. We have a key role in enabling the Army’s purpose: 'to fight and win wars from the land' by delivering Army capability and realising the full potential of the Future Soldier. The Army contributes significantly to UK prosperity and growth and through the Directorate, it is revitalising the land industrial base through the Land Industrial Strategy. The next decade of vehicle, digital, infrastructure and equipment delivery will see at least 11 new platforms and nine major upgrades which will support 10,000 UK jobs directly, and a further 10,000 indirectly.’ We will keep you informed of progress through these pages.
