The BRiTE Wellness Program was developed at the University of Pittsburgh by a group of scientists with expertise in cognition and behavior. BRiTE stands for Brain Training and Exercise and is an innovative wellness program which promotes brain and physical health and wellness among individuals with mild changes in their thinking. The program is designed into four core components: movement, creativity, music, and cognition. It is a community-based wellness program for independent adults, not to be confused with an adult daycare program.
