Brigitte Schmidt Bell, P.C. has been helping clients since 1993, when Brigitte left a big firm to be able to focus her practice on mediation and helping clients develop their own solutions to the myriad issues that a typical divorce presents. In 2001 she helped bring the practice of Collaborative Law to Illinois. She continues to emphasize those processes with clients while also functioning as mediation-friendly lawyer for clients who are working with another mediator. Because she understands the particular problems that children face when their parents use the courts as a venue for acrimony and recriminations, she also serves as a child representative, guardian ad litem, and parenting coordinator. Brigitte meets with clients in the office and through Zoom as needed or requested.
