Brigid Mountmaking provides artifact display services for museums and private collectors who value object safety and discreet display. We serve clients locally in the Washington DC, Baltimore, and St. Louis areas, as well as nationally and internationally. Brigid Mountmaking is a collaboration between three mountmakers committed to designing and fabricating unobtrusive artifact mounts with a deep respect for object safety. We are experienced with finding solutions for seismic-mitigating, traveling, and theft-deterring mounts as well as custom mannequins, textiles displays, and the fabrication of acrylic book mounts. We work in a variety of materials, including brass, steel, and acrylic, and are able to design and fabricate onsite or template objects and return for fittings. Whether managing large museum-wide installations or working on a single object for a collector, we bring the highest level of care to every object.
