Brightfields is a utility-scale power investment and development company. We specialize in providing solar reuse solutions for large industrial clients seeking to divest of environmentally impaired land. From tailored risk management programs, remedy and array design to negotiating site closure, electricity grid interconnections, power purchase agreements, O&M contracts and financing, our expertise covers the entire development cycle for a new generation asset. We have redeveloped and attained regulatory clearance for landfills, Brownfields and Superfund sites, with current management responsibility for seven properties. Our principals have financed, developed and built over 450MW of major power projects in the United States and Europe, using conventional, renewable and hybrid fuels. Brightfields is currently developing in excess of 100MW of solar PV projects on five EPA Superfund caliber sites and landfills in Illinois, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico.
