We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring at-risk youth to explore the practical applications of computer science to advance the natural sciences, while also using computational skills to gain a deeper understanding of the life sciences through inquiry-based and expeditionary learning. Our goal is to create project-based learning environments where students are encouraged to engage in an in-depth study of topics that directly impact their schools and communities. Our learning model covers multiple content areas ranging from elementary chemistry and biology to basic computer programming and data analysis so that students experience how problem solving can happen in the real world - ideally, their own world.
