Breese Sailmakers Information

Established in 1995. Breese Sailmakers specializes in building, repairing and maintaining sails for your sailboats, dinghies, one-designs and classic wooden yachts to the modern cruiser. We're a small loft, which means we'll work together to make sure your sails are designed and built for your type of sailing. We'll help with sail-handling systems, splicing, lifelines and running rigging. Year after year, we'll keep your sails and canvas in tip-top shape with our annual inspections, repair, cleaning and storage service. We're proud and humbled that our reputation for excellent service and support extends well beyond the Chesapeake Bay. The sail loft has repeatedly been voted "Best of the Bay" by the readers of the Chesapeake Bay Magazine. In 1995, Meade and Cheryl Breese started a small loft in Rock Hall with the goals of providing high-quality custom cruising sails, expert repairs and service to the boating community on the Eastern Shore. They brought 30+ years of experience to sail making and repairs, hot air balloons and a tradition of quality, outstanding service and support. Bob Tacher has over 30 years experience in boating and sailing in New York, Florida and the Chesapeake Bay. A resident of Chestertown and an avid sailor, he's looking forward to continuing the Breese Sailmakers' focus on quality, outstanding customer service, and support.
