Founded in 1970, Bredo is an Australian-owned precision CNC machining center certified to ISO 9001, AS9100 and IRIS standards. Originally known as Bredo Mators has developed into a division of Copamate specialising in CNC machining, milling, and turning services for over 45 years. Bredo continues to evolve, leveraging more than four decades of industry experience to apply its diverse expertise. This ongoing development ensures that Bredo remains at the forefront of providing innovative and efficient solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of its clients. In January 2022, Copamate acquired Bredo Mators. This union enhanced the division's capacity to deliver high-quality CNC manufacturing solutions. Together, Bredo has become known as a leading manufacturing solution provider for large and small businesses across a wide range of industries. Bredo now provides services to the defence, automotive, aerospace, mining, and transport industries, among others such as commercial. From CNC machining and CNC turning to 3D printing and tooling repairs, Bredo now works with Copamate to achieve manufactured engineering excellence. Bredo provides quality management systems which are maintained to current ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Copamate and Bredo are IRIS certified (ISO 22163:2023) The division is committed to provide custom, sourced and proprietary products in compliance with established specifications, relevant national and international standards with regulatory requirements being upheld.
