A strong community needs a vibrant hospital and a vibrant hospital requires a developing community. Fortunately in Schoolcraft County, we have both. Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital (SMH) is an independent state-of-the-art, 12-bed, critical access hospital and Rural Health Clinic. The hospital opened it's doors to a new facility in 2013 but the hospital has been in operation since 1950.
