Breaking Bread is built on the idea that when we share a meal, we share so much more. Re-established at Rollins College in 2023 as an experiment in food diplomacy, Breaking Bread began with a question: what if food could help bridge backgrounds and beliefs? A question became a community. One table became many. Since then, Breaking Bread has brought hundreds of people together across campuses and Central Florida to share meals, create community, and build bridges. We don’t expect everyone to agree by dessert. But we hope people leave the table having connected with someone they might not have otherwise. The next table could be yours. We will eat again.
