Breakers Information

Breakers Boutique Accommodation is an absolute beachfront bed & breakfast on the Punakaiki coastline - the Great Coast Road overlooking the Tasman Sea. Set on 2 acres of native bush and landscaped gardens with private track to access remote and secluded West Coast beach. Jan and Stephen are your NZ born hosts who love to get out exploring the many wonders of the West Coast and sharing their discoveries with their guests. Stephen is a professional photographer so always has his camera with him. There are two friendly dogs on site - Ziggy and Ansel both German Short-haired pointers. They have their own area but are always happy to fulfill the needs of guests ready for a doggy fix on their holiday. There are four rooms at Breakers, all with outstanding sea views, outdoor deck/balcony access with seating and ensuite bathrooms. Breakfast is included and for evening dining homemade pizza or antipasto platter options are available as well as local beer and wine for sale. Breakers Boutique Accommodation is proudly Qualmark Gold rated for tourism business sustainability. Jan and Stephen are very passionate about the environment and are constantly looking at ways to minimize their footprint. Breakers proudly support the local SPCA, West Coast Penguin Trust and Paparoa Wildlife Trust.
