When you make a purchase from Bravelets™, you can trust that 10% of each item is donated back to the cause of your choice. Bravelets™ is not a non-profit organization. We are a for-profit company with giving at our core. We believe in transparency. We believe in making a difference. We don’t believe in the phrase “a portion of proceeds will be donated….”. What does that mean? What portion, what proceeds? That kind of giving is confusing and unfulfilling to the customer. Our giving is clear, transparent, and easy to understand. When buying a product from Bravelets, you always know the exact amount being donated, and exactly where it is going. We want you to be confident in your purchase, and proud to have made a difference. In the Summer of 2011, Stephanie's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. During this time, Stephanie looked for a symbol that she and her sisters could wear that would be a reminder to be brave. When Stephanie began looking for a bracelet that they could wear in unity, she could not find anything that would inspire her or her family. This is where the idea for Bravelets™ was formed. Stephanie also wanted to support not only her cause but other people and organizations. Her inspiration turned into a passion and in January of 2012 Bravelets™ was formed.
