Terri earned her J.D. at the University of Southern California's Gould School of Law where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Southern California Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif. She served as a law clerk to Chancellor William B. Chandler III and Vice Chancellor John W. Noble of the Delaware Court of Chancery (2002-03), and to the honorable Ferdinand F. Fernandez of the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit (2003-04). Prior to returning to Kona, Terri spent 7 years as a litigation attorney at Latham & Watkins in the firm's Securities and Professional Liability and White-Collar practice groups. She has also served the public in a Trial Attorney Partnership with the Office of the District Attorney of Orange County in Southern California, and as an award-winning Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Hawai'i in Hilo, Waimea, and Kona.
