Our founder Sydney Brannan created the company back in 1913, when he identified an opportunity in the manufacturing market for the production of glass thermometers. Since then, Brannan has established itself as worldwide distributor to over 180 countries. We have a broad product portfolio which comprises glass thermometers, pressure gauges, hydrometers, and other related items. Operating across 3 key sectors which include Industrial, Science & Education and Consumer (which also encompasses Medical), Brannan has an enviable reputation for quality, service and innovation. We are proud to remain a privately owned company, and are committed to British manufacturing from our base in the North West UK. Brannan has one of the most technically advanced commercial temperature and pressure calibration laboratories in the UK, and is continually investing in this area to ensure our products meet the very highest of quality standards.
