Official page of the Brampton Honey Badgers, your 2022 CEBL Champions! The Honey Badgers are one of the CEBL’s original six founding franchises, launching on June 12, 2018 as the Hamilton Honey Badgers. The club reached the CEBL Championship game in the inaugural season of 2019 and has reached the semifinals in three of four seasons. The Honey Badgers have had staff or players affiliated with 21 of the 30 NBA teams. Fifty-two players have gone on to sign pro contracts following their summer with this franchise—by far the largest margin of success in the CEBL. Lindell Wigginton became the first Canadian CEBL player to sign an NBA contract (Milwaukee) after playing in the league in 2021. The Honey Badgers strive to support their community and be key members in the growth and accessibility of the game of basketball in the City of Brampton, Peel and Halton Regions. We are proud to partner with various non-profit and community organizations, in order to grow, inspire and create change in our local community. Stay tuned for the latest team news, community events, job updates, volunteer opportunities and other ways to get involved!
