Brain Power 5K Information

The Brain Power 5K is the original race in Central Texas funding brain cancer research, recognizing brain tumor survivors and remembering loved ones lost to this devastating disease. The 3rd Annual Brain Power 5K is proud to benefit local programs in our Central Texas brain tumor community and the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation for Brain Cancer Research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The Brain Power 5K originated from a brain tumor survivor's will to make a difference in the fight against brain cancer. Kelly Bolinger saw the need in the Austin community and Central Texas for an event to honor those affected by this disease and impact underfunded research. Combining her love for running, years of involvement in races and desire to improve brain cancer research; the Brain Power 5K was born.
