At Brain Ingenuity, we want to utilize this page to get the message out that brain training is affordable and can change people's lives by improving memory, concentration, clarity, problem solving, and confidence. We work with adults (professionals, athletes, and seniors) and kids (Grade 3 through and including college age) individually and in small groups. From maximizing grades and scholarships, achieving career goals, handling aging at peak performance, and attention and focus in college, brain training programs make a difference. We have seen this life-changing progress in our clients. Brain Ingenuity features Cogmed cognitive software in many of its programs because it is the most evidence-based cognitive training on the market today (cogmed.com) Our programs are customized to reflect the goals of each client. Weakness in reading comprehension and math acuity undermine academic performance so these areas are targeted in our personalized programs. Research indicates that working memory is at the basis of most learning challenges and brain training is proven to strengthen working memory; therefore combining brain training and enrichment are key to practical significant change. We specialize in custom ACT training that teaches students to decode ACT questions which promotes higher scores and more scholarships. As one 9th Grader told us, "Everyone should take this program!" Brain training is a no-brainer investment for parents of athletes. These students need to stay sharp in the summer so that they stay academically eligible for their sport.
