We are the Arts & Humanities Research Council programme working to enable a healthy Responsible AI ecosystem in the UK. BRAID is dedicated to integrating Arts and Humanities research more fully into the Responsible AI ecosystem, as well as bridging the divides between academic, industry, policy and regulatory work on responsible AI. BRAID is a 6-year national research programme led by the University of Edinburgh in partnership with the Ada Lovelace Institute and the BBC. BRAID is co-directed by Shannon Vallor and Ewa Luger, working alongside a team of co-investigators representing the breadth of the Arts and Humanities.
