BRACE - Dementia Research Information

A registered charity (no 297965) that raises funds for scientific research into Alzheimer's and other dementias. Its aims are to help establish the causes of the disease, improve diagnosis and containment and ultimately to beat dementia. BRACE supports medical research in SW England and S Wales and currently supports researchers in Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Exeter, Plymouth, South Gloucestershire and Swansea. However, the charity's area of benefit is global - anyone, anywhere who might one day develop dementia. BRACE wants to hear from companies, faith groups, clubs, community organisations and other groups interested in supporting a charity. Recent and current business supporters include IOP Publishing, Arup, Butterworth Jones, Capita Symonds, Jordans Ltd, Avanti Hygiene, QS Burroughs Day, Accolade Wines, Veale Wasbrough Vizards and Irwin Mitchell. We also need volunteers to help with fundraising, admin and sponsored events.
