Boyd Development Corporation is an Orlando-based real estate development company formed in 1991 by Scott T. Boyd. The firm has focused on creating value by acquiring exceptionally well-located land that can be used for retail or mixed-use development. Key principals within the firm have developed dozens of projects in the Central Florida market area. Projects have included large-scale land developments, retail shopping centers, office buildings, light industrial buildings and multi-family projects. The principals have a combined expertise that spans over 50 years in the business. Although much of Boyd's development activities have been funded internally, the principals have also partnered with institutional as well as private capital sources in its development activities.
