Boy Meets Fashion Information

I am a London born and bred young gentleman who launched BoyMeetsFashion.com back in 2010 purely as an outlet to express my fascination with fashion and styles. As someone who attended fashion events at the time, I was urged by close friends to start a blog so they could get a sneak preview of new collections. It was one very memorable day when I met DisneyRollerGirl in person and she encouraged me to start a blog. She taught me much of what I needed to know to start blogging and building my way up. A few weeks later this blog was born, and gradually grew over the first few months into something so much bigger. It now exists to keep readers up to date with all the fashion trends, and give them an opportunity to see what goes on inside the fashion industry particularly private fashion parties, Press events and fashion weeks. Boy Meets Fashion has been featured in The Telegraph, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan magazine and Harrods to name a few. In 2011, I was named 8th in the Daily Telegraphs Top 50 fashion insiders on Twitter list (Source: http://bit.ly/gkJ5XC ). It has been shortlisted for awards, including the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards and is rated as one of the top fashion blogs. Some of my followers on Twitter includes Hilary Alexander, Vogue Magazine, Daily Telegraph, Bing UK and Microsoft. I work with many fashion brands, attend PR events and fashion shows. I have been fortunate enough to have met and worked with some of the very best people in the industry who inspire and continue to support me. Highlights of 2011 includes: meeting Nicole Farhi, getting compliments from Maria Grachgovel, co-hosting a live fashion video chat with Gok Wan where he and I answered questions from the public, sitting on the front row at London Fashion Week catwalk shows. At the end of December 2011, I was asked by Harrods to come and interview Florence Welch on the day of the Harrods Winter Sale. It rounded off an incredible year for me.
