Safestore is the UK’s largest self-storage group, with 205 self-storage facilities across the UK and Europe. This includes 135 wholly owned stores in the UK, 50 of which are in London, with the remainder located across key cities such as (but not limited to) Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Bristol. In Europe, Safestore also operates in 5 countries—France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Germany—sometimes under different brands including MijnSafestore, MySafestore, OhMyBox, MyStorage, and Une Pièce en Plus. Founded in the UK in 1998, Safestore acquired the French business 'Une Pièce en Plus' (25 stores) in 2004, founded by our current CEO, Frederic Vecchioli.
