BoxSmart was founded by former professional boxer and coach Danny Kennedy, built on the belief that boxing can be one of the most powerful tools for developing confidence, discipline, resilience and fitness—without the need to fight. Drawing on years of experience in the sport, Danny created BoxSmart to make the benefits of boxing accessible to everyone. From children taking their first steps into the gym to adults looking to improve their fitness and wellbeing, BoxSmart provides a supportive environment where people can learn authentic boxing skills, challenge themselves and grow in confidence. At the heart of BoxSmart is a simple philosophy: No egos. No fights. Just good people, working hard, getting better. The gym focuses on boxing technique, strength and conditioning, personal development and community. Members are encouraged to push themselves, support one another and develop the habits and mindset that extend beyond the gym into everyday life. As Danny often says, “We can’t all be champions, but we can train like one.” That belief underpins everything BoxSmart does—helping people of all ages and abilities become fitter, stronger and more confident versions of themselves.
