Boxkars Information

BOXKARS was founded to build bicycles in the spirit of American Hot Rodding. That means innovation, quality, performance, and products that are made in the U.S.A. In keeping with the high standards that hot rods are known for, we use the finest materials and components available. The inspiration for these bikes came from the stripped-down, hopped-up, 1930s Fords and Chevrolets that screamed down the dry lakes, and salt flats back in the 1940s and 50s. You’ll notice that the top of our frame looks a lot like the fenders that were removed from those first hot rods and that it wraps underneath the chain to form a complete belly-pan. While extremely strong and rigid, BOXKARS’ unique tubeless frame (patent pending) is also an aluminum canvas where endless variations of laser-cut designs and custom paint jobs will come to life. We’re starting off with 5 designs for our Model 63 with more to follow. Our bikes are for those who appreciate the lasting value of quality, and who don’t mind drawing a crowd when they stop rolling.
