BOX Studios Denver, Colorado, was founded in the year 2000 to reflect Founding Principal Jim Graczyk's design and business philosophy. BOX Studios Chicago (as FUEL Design Collaborative) was founded in 2001 by Principals Ferdinand Dimailig and Dan Kraiss. In late 2007, FUEL Design merged with long-time sister firm BOX Studios and together procured a multi-year, Region 5 GSA contract.
