Outside the Box, LLC was started in 2002 to assist those IT organizations that are striving to improve their development efforts through the application of system development methodology and automated system development tools. Having worked for a number of years as an IT project manager, I have first hand knowledge of the benefits that an organized, repeatable process can bring to a company. I also know that it is no small effort to introduce and encourage the adoption of that process. That is why I formed OtB; to help companies understand the impacts, both good and bad, that a methodology and tools will have on their organization, to set realistic goals and objectives for improving project results, to lay out a plan to achieve those objectives and to implement and measure the results of that plan.
