Bottlepay is on a mission to make Bitcoin accessible to all. We are headquartered and operational in the UK, but have global plans. The app facilitates safe, secure, and social micropayments, in a way that benefits both businesses and consumers. Our aim is to rewrite the rules when it comes to cross-border transactions by making them instant, fast, and cost-effective. The app enables the instantaneous transfer of any amount, making sending and receiving payments a seamless experience. We’ve cut out the middleman, and their hefty fees, meaning that no transaction amount is too small. Our technology leverages the lightning network, a payment protocol that operates on top of a blockchain-based cryptocurrency (bitcoin). This is what gives speed to our transactions, and payments can be made in either bitcoin or GBP (Euro coming soon). Using Bottlepay means you can also choose how you receive your funds - you can either hold on to bitcoin or have it converted into the currency of your choice on receipt.
