Bothra group was founded by Mr. R.C Bothra when he acquired Sarat Chatterjee & Co (Visakhapatnam) Pvt. Ltd. in 1977 with a dream of reforming the traditional ship stevedoring services with an efficient mechanized system. Mechanized cargo handling equipment were hired and put into operations in Visakhapatnam port. Based on our success in the Visakhapatnam the mechanized cargo handling operations were started on other major ports. Bothra group slowly & steadily diversified into the other nodes of the supply chain with an aim to provide customized solutions for End to End logistics to our clients. Today, the Bothra group is a multi-faceted logistics service provider with targeted expertise in each of its group companies. In 2004, Jaldhi Overseas Pte. Ltd. was incorporated in Singapore with the aim of assisting our clients in reducing their risk exposure to volatile freight market by chartering ships on voyage or time charter. Since 2011, Bothra group has entered into owning & operations of terminal under concession agreements. It operates four (4) terminals and is constructing a 10MMTPA coal terminal in Paradip, which is expected to start operations in Q2 2020. Prologis Freight, incorporated in 2018, ushered Bothra Group into the expanding market of one-stop logistics service provider for containerized cargo.
