Its founding was initiated in 2008 by graphic designers Jan Kloss and Jakub Korouš within a school assignment at UMPRUM, Prague. The label's concept is based on the redesign of the iconic sport model Classic launched in 1966, whose simple shape and timeless solution became popular enough that the term “botasky” (Botas shoes) has become synonymous for any sport shoes in Czech.
