The Scout Alliance of Croatia, the Croatian Forest and the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service are launching the Boranka Campaign, a reforestation project for the devastated areas of Dalmatia. Boranka is the largest voluntary afforestation of burned areas ever organized in Croatia. Extremely large surface of forests are being destroyed in large fires which are increasingly affecting the Croatian coast. Fiery storms are leaveing behind devastation with catastrophic natural consequences. Nature is to powerless to defend herself and quickly rebuild, and so she needs our help, help to bring back a life to the devastated hearthstone, colored green. Citizens can participate in the campaign through donations to procure seedlings or volunteer in planting campaigns that started in late September 2019.
