Why We Exist Entrepreneurship. It’s in our blood. It’s what get’s us out of bed in the morning and keeps us up all night. We love the thrill of taking an idea scribbled on the back of a napkin and creating something BIG. We don’t believe in trying. We just DO. No one said changing the world is easy but entrepreneurs believe it is possible. And sometimes all it takes is one meeting or one phone call from the right person to change the course of a startup’s life. If Bootup can take what we have learned or put you in touch with that one person to help you succeed, then we win too. We ALL WIN. And that it why Bootup exists. Built by Founders for Founders Founded by a group of veteran entrepreneurs, the Bootup Entrepreneurial Society (BES) is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the entrepreneurial ecosystem in BC and across Canada by building a solid infrastructure that is well honed to support digital media entrepreneurs. Through outcome driven educational workshops, access to experienced mentors and rockin’ networking events, BES provides entrepreneurs with the resources and connections needed to start and grow their digital media businesses.
